This is a stained glass landscape of the most georgeous and verdant greens. You can almost see the wind rustling the two trees as they perch on the very top of the hill. Handmade, to my original design, this piece is made using the copper foil technique and because I incorporate objects from the natural world, no two of these pieces are quite the same. The intense greens are enhanced by the pretty textures incorporated in the glass and I've added stones, shells and handmade porcelain shapes to give texture and diffuse the candlelight. I have patinaed the solder in an antique black to give definition to the solder lines, the whole piece has then been polished to a satiny sheen.
This piece has a mirrored back so it will reflect lots of light if you should choose to place it on a windowsill rather than use it as a tealight holder. It is approximately 16 cms tall, 8.5 cms wide and 7cms deep.
It has wire invisibly soldered all the way around it for added strength and each one comes with a tealight included. I use recycled or reused packaging wherever possible and I always post my items as signed for deliveries, for extra security.
