The carved large mageniste beads are beautiful. Magnesite (also known as howlite) is one of Mother Nature's greatest imitators. It's famed for imitating turquoise but is naturally white with grey veining. It's said that magnesite can eliminate anger, and healers regard it as a gemstone to purify the blood.

I've teamed them with pyrite beads and turquoise quartz accents. A fairly weighty piece but very eye catching.
