This range was inspired by my upbringing on the Isle of Wight. The coast has always been a huge inspiration to me. I love natural colours and how these colours of the outdoors blend so beautifully. The speckled clay I use gives a wonderfully textural feel when unglazed and silky smooth when my semi matt glaze is applied, inspired by all those different textures you find along the coast.

My work goes through a long lovingly made process. Each piece is individually thrown and left loosely covered overnight to harden. I then turn them over to trim the bases back on the wheel. When I am happy with the work I will leave to slowly dry (if dried too quick there is a risk of cracking.) When completely dry after 1-2 weeks depending on size they will go into first firing to 1000degrees. After an 11hour firing and slowly cooling I can remove from the kiln to be glazed.
