Item details
'Nouveau Bird' is part of a series of animal designs / illustrations inspired by 1970s textiles and Scandinavian design. I called the series 'Nouveau Animals', because whilst researching 1970s textiles, I realised it was strongly influenced by Art Nouveau. I think this can be seen in the designs, with the use of swirly, flowing lines and patterns.
