I do like to be beside the sea side! This card features the Herne Bay skyline which is part of the beautiful Kent coast.

The covers are made using grey mountboard which we etch with the city name. The cityscape is then laser cut from black card and concertina folded up by hand before finally being assembled.

They are great as presents or ornaments and look especially nice on a mantle piece, shelf or in a window. They also post really easily for sending to people overseas as a reminder of home the cards come with an envelope.

When folded they measure approx 11cm x 11cm and when pulled open the approx length is 45cm depending on how far you pull on the concertina .

My nan lived in Herne Bay my whole life and we used to go visit her there every weekendwhen I was little. My dad always used to take me to the arcades and win me toys on those grabber machines. I was recently invited back to Herne Bay for a beautiful fair on the sea front and was amazed at how much it had changed, it inspired us to create this card.
