Item details

A lovely addition to the Nursery or as a christening gift. A 3D heart handcut and made with 4-5 layers from an old Peter Rabbit book. The picture features the lovely Beatrix Potter character holding his red and white spotted handkerchief on his way to the garden to gather food. The heart is finished with red stitching down the middle and is mounted on an orangey brown tweed effect textured paper. The whole item is mounted in a simple white box frame which can either stand on a shelf or hang on a wall.

Frame is approximately 6" wide by 8" high.

This would make a lovely pair of pictures with another Peter Rabbit on the same colour background available in my shop.

As I am a keen recycler, item will bedispatched in recycled packaging unless otherwise requested.

Who can resist Peter Rabbit.? These pictures were developed in conjunction with a gift shop I worked with. The owner realised that these would make super gifts for babies - and how right she was! Since then, I have crafted pictures from Beatrix Potter and Winnie the Pooh old books . I only use books that have seen better days that nobody seems to want and I aim to rescue the pictures so that another generation can enjoy the delightful illustrations.
