This free form side tiara is made from liquid resin, also known as Fantasy film (though don't google it as you may be suprised at what you find!)

The flower shown is made with silver wire, which is bent by hand into shape before being dipped in the liquid black resin. The stamens have been added using Swarovski ABx2 crystals. The ABx2 gives that extra sparkle.

Set to the side of a 2mm alice band, the flowers are tied with clear rainbow seed beads. Three stems 'shoot out' from behind the flower showing black and crystal Swarovski crystals.

A showstopping, truly original piece!

Due to this item being handmade, there may be minor differences than the piece pictured.

I'd seen an article on jewellery made from a liquid resin called 'Fantasy Film' and wanted to make a tiara for a bride, which would be different from anything else seen around the shops or the handmade scene. I made a template for the petals, bent the wire and dipped the petals in the resin. I chose black as it is not only the original colour for a wedding, but I wanted to show the alternative bride, what could be achieved. This tiara can be made using, blue, red, yellow, green, purple or most other colours. The choice would be the brides!
