This beautiful soap is part of the Lansdowne Originals 'Allergen-Free Range'. It's made by the traditional cold-process method of soap-making in small batches in my studio in Broadway, the Cotswolds.
Purple Peony soap is made from a selection of beautiful, skin-loving oils, skillfully combined by hand to create a wonderfully moisturising, cleansing bar. We haven't added any colourings to this soap, and the gentle scent comes from a lovely allergen-free fragrance oil. It just goes to show that beautiful soap doesn't need to be complicated, and people with sensitive skin can have lovely soap too!
I use no palm oil in any of my products, and every ingredient has been very carefully selected and tested.

Each 115g bar is individually wrapped in coloured paper and a paper band.

Ingredients: Sodium Cocoate, Sodium Olivate, Sodium Sunflowerseedate, Sodium Cocoabutterate, Aqua, Sodium Castorate, Glycerine, Parfum (allergen-free fragrance oil), Rosemarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract.

I began making soap as a hobby, and that hobby grew into a business. I firmly believe that everyone should be able to enjoy beautiful soap, and as a lot of essential and fragrance oils contain known allergens, I decided to develop a range of allergen-free soaps, using fragrance oils that don't contain any of the 26 known allergens. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
