A stylish wrap around style ring made from a vintage teaspoon! Works great as a thumb ring.

I hunt down old silver cutlery to make this range of jewellery. Mostly, the spoons I find are "orphans" who have long since been separated from the rest of their set.
As such, they are pretty much "one of a kind" - each one will be slightly different, in weight, or size. They are the ultimate in eco friendly recycled jewellery.
Where I can, or when it suits the piece, I will leave the original hallmark exposed like a birthmark, so everyone can see its beginnings.....the mark on this one wraps right around the front of the piece.

This spoon was made by a company called Levi & Salaman and was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1918/19. It weighs 9.1 grams.

This particular ring comes up at a size U, but as it wraps around, there is flexibility in that size.

I'm a magpie. I search out trinkets and doodads wherever I go. I love anything vintage and get a buzz out of turning something old and discarded into something new.
Doing this with old cutlery is so much nicer than melting it down as scrap and we need to preserve some of our history, don't we?
