A beautiful handmade cushion cover, sewn from an 'upcycled' beige tablecloth to give a lovely, hard-wearing finish.

The cushion features a unique, handprinted puffin design, printed in acrylic paint with textile medium, using hand-cut stencils. The design has been heat-set so that it can be washed on a gentle, cool wash, and the cushion cover can be ironed on the reverse.

The cushion cover measures approximately 15" x 15" and takes a cushion pad of around 15–16" (NOT INCLUDED). The cover features a hidden, dark beige zip closure at the top, and the design is printed only on the front of the cushion.

Please note that as this is a handprinted design on recycled material, minor variations and imperfections may occur – this just adds to the unique, handmade charm!

Everyone loves a puffin! They're one of my favourite seabirds and I've been lucky enough to watch them on Skomer Island in Wales and on the Farne Islands, off Northumberland. This print was based on one of my photos from Skomer, and each colour has been printed separately by hand using my own hand-cut stencils.

I also love finding new uses for old materials – I sewed this cushion cover from an old tablecloth, which gives the cushion a lovely, hard-wearing finish. Each of my handprinted cushions is a unique one-off design.
