All my Land girl dolls are unique, they are a mixture of hand and machine stitched and made using vintage 1930s/40s fabrics and modern reproduction prints, with a 40s style hairdo fashioned from uk sourced needle felt wool tops.
They come with a printed copy of a 1940s identity card with their Name inside.
Each doll is approx 24" tall and has a Made by Mim heart tattoo on her arm, a little daring for a 40s land girl but I like to think my girls are sassy !
Each little jumper is hand knitted by me, and you get to choose between green,mustard or beige. Likewise you can also choose their hair colour from Red, Black,Brown or White.
The Land girls in the photos are of previously made Girls and yours will be similar in style but not an exact replica as they are all individually made, please convo me your prefered choices of jumper and hair, if I don't hear from you I will choose a colour scheme for you. Their outfits are all carefully stitched into place and are not removable.
Due to the nature of my dolls they are not suitable for Children and are display pieces only, Each doll is individually made to order and takes 2-3 weeks to make and ship, I will notify you if there are any changes to this.

I grew up with an interest in all things Historical, I love collecting vintage toy patterns and Toy making books, the whole idea of make do and mend is something I love, I also think that there is a little bit in all of us that hankers after the toys of our childhood and so I like to appeal to that bit of us that stays forever young.
