I love to see what lies inside the wood come inside and see what I mean. Now making Christmas stock !!!!
Light pull turned from delicately figured idigbo (an African wood), measuring 59mm long and 34mm in diameter at its widest point, finished with beeswax and polished to a soft sheen. It is further enhanced with five burnt bands. The light pull, which could also be used for a window blind, is designed so that the cord can be threaded through the 3mm hole and knotted, with the knot being concealed by the recess in the bottom.
I first noticed light pulls on a visit to Holyrood Palace, Edinburgh some years ago and have been making them for some time now. The Royal Mail small parcel post tariff which this item requires (because they are too fat for large letter rate) might seem expensive. However, I HAVE SET MY P&P FOR ADDITIONAL ITEMS AT ONLY 95p so this would make it ideal to order as a second item.
