This latest print has nine layers of ink and six separate sections of hand coloured pencil work. It will be exhibited very shortly at The Zillah Bell Gallery in Thisk as part of my solo exhibition 'Piecing The Landscape'

All my prints are created entirely by hand, from the initial drawings, mixing of the inks, to the actual pulling of the ink across the silk screen onto finest quality paper. Every colour and stencil is applied separately making a truely handmade piece of work.
I like to work around repetition, forming patterns, and also using some hand drawn textures to add interest. This print forms part of my recent landscape work and taken from the patchwork of fields surrounding my home and studio.

All of my prints are original artworks in their own right and over time should increase in value. This is different to 'Limited edition giclee' prints which are reproductions (inkjet prints from a computer) and not originals.
