I am lucky to have a great garden full of flowers – and it is such a thrill to see a lovely fat bumble bee buzzing around visiting individual flowers. And the children will rush into the house shouting “We need sugar!” as soon as they spot a bumble bee that looks like it is low on energy. It is not a subject I would have readily picked to model in silver as so many others have done so – but at my very first fair so many people asked me if I did one, that I felt it was worth a go. I’m so glad that I did and my little bees have enjoyed a great deal of attention since their debut.
