I have filled my shop with my hand-made books and leather items.
Each item is made with care and all are different. I hope you will find something here to inspire you.

This is a very special journal. It is made by hand, from materials that were also hand made. Every sheet of paper in this book was individually hand crafted, using age-old methods. Each sheet has its natural deckle edge, from where it was made in a wooden mould with a mesh to drain away the water. The white paper inside has a "felt" texture, from the wool felt sheets that are used to dry the paper sheets.
The outside and inside of the covers are in a midnight blue Nepalese Lokta paper, imprinted with delicate fern leaves.
The edge of each cover is trimmed with Sunn Hemp Indigo-dyed paper, from the last person in India to make this type of traditional paper. You can see the natural wavy edge of the paper on the front cover of the journal.
Inside, the book is filled with pages of Cotton-rag Hand Made Paper, from India. Its texture is slightly rough and it is an ideal surface for writing, drawing and sketching, also for watercolour, or other paints.

Additional terms
Standard returns policy applies to this item, except when a customised label has been purchased and attached to the book. If the book has a customised printed label, the book is then not eligible for return, unless it is faulty. However, if there should be a problem with your order, do contact me and I will do my best to resolve it to your satisfaction
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
