Item details

This item is made using Marriner Yarns double knitting yarn. It is made from 100% acrylic yarn in what they describe as pale rose although I would describe it more as a dusky colour than pale.

The tunic has short sleeves and comes well past the hip line, almost to mid thigh depending how tall you are. It is made up using a number of different stitches to give a wonderful pattern of shells and puffs. The hem and sleeves are edged using a close stitch providing a solid edge.

Measurements are approximately 91cms (36") chest, neck line to sleeve cap 29cms (12"), shoulder to hem 71cms (28").

This pattern grabbed my attention as a tee shirt but I extended the length of the body as I felt it would look better as a tunic over leggings with a long sleeved top underneath. I am pleased with the way this has turned out and will now be looking at altering other patterns in the future.
