This item is made using an acrylic yarn from Marriner Yarns. This is a hard wearing yarn which washes well in the machine or by hand at 40 degrees.

The yarn is described as apple green and is most definitely eye catching. The design has a dropped shoulder seam and a tie fastening at the front. Sleeves are three quarter length.

Measurements are approximately 96cms (38") chest, shoulder seam to cuff 38cms (15"), neck to cuff 51cms (20") and from shoulder to hem 58cms (23"). The item weighs approximately 300g.

The remoteness of the island and need to arrive by ferry provides a creative atmosphere without too many outside influences and distractions. Every where you look earth colours jump out at you with the number of different shades of green, brown and red being infinite. This particular shade reminds me of the moss now beginning to wake up after the winter.
