My wife designed this piece and I brought her idea into being. The idea to make this heart came from the tassles that are quite commonly used for adorning furniture. We thought we would try a new twist on an established item. Produced from a solid piece of wood shaped initially with the help of an electiric sanding machine and finely finished by hand. To finish off I used satin effect varnish.
