Item details
I had seen tassles used to adorn furniture handles and draw knobs so thought why not create such an adornment using wood. I shaped this from a block of pine wood giving a rounded touchy-feely form, quite different from the usual flatly produced hearts. The shape was attained by using a circular sander and final hand finishing with sandpaper. Coating with satin effect varnish completed the heart shape. The decoration was the idea of my wife.
