A stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.

This is one of an alphabet range of suncatchers where S is for Spider.

A letter S with little spider's webs enclosed in the two curves of the S in clear types of glass. The S is in bright green and jade.

Hanging from the S is a removable green spider made from pretty flower patterned beads..

It looks absolutely beautiful hanging in the window where it catches the light and would make a lovely ornament for any room.

This also makes a super 'bird-scarer' as it will help to stop birds flying into windows.

The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top.

This item is absolutely individual. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.

It is 14cm high and 10cm wide.

I've made a few designs based on letters of the alphabet. I thought they would be good ideas for children's gifts. eg. I have a Goldfish suncatcher I designed for grandson George where G = Goldfish. I've made an H is for Harrison, hummingbird and a P is for Polly, pram.
So this design is good for Sam, Steve, Sally, Sarah, Step or indeed any name starting with S.
