This is an unusual Hope Morse Code Necklace. The shell beads spell out the word 'hope' in ITU standard Morse code. It is created with 2 shades of hemp cord, real shell beads, and silver plated copper. This would be a great gift for those who like subtle jewellery, or who like jewellery with a hidden message.
The necklace is 20 inches (50.8 cm) long, and extends to just over 22 inches (56.5 cm) long. It is approx. 1 cm wide. The necklace is fastened with a lobster claw clasp.
Macrame is the art of decorative knotting. The square knot was used to create this necklace.
Morse code is a way of transmitting text information through sound or light. The length of the noises /duration of light can be interpreted as letters.
The necklace will be presented in an organza gift bag.

I liked the idea of doing a morse code necklace. The word 'hope' was universal.
