I live in Manchester and I enjoy drawing the beautiful and unusual buildings that are scattered around the city. This poster brings together a collection of drawings on the theme of music venues around Manchester. The music venues I have selected are mostly grand and ornate buildings with a lot of character. They are places that I have visited and admired, and then decided to draw! Riso printing is an 'analogue' method of printing that is perfect for making posters. The image is scanned and transferred onto a drum filled with ink, and this drum then transfers the image onto the paper.
