Art has always surrounded me. I can remember my Nan always making stuff; from knitting jumpers for the family to sewing dresses for herself and for my sister and me. My fondest memory of my Nan was when she made us a bungalow out of matchstick boxes. It kept my sister and me engrossed in the bungalow for hours. I absorbed all these early experiences which carved out my path in art.

Having a background in Art and Health and working with vulnerable groups in different situations has given me an insight into how art can be a tool. I believe by tapping in to art you can allow yourself to escape and as well as being emotional it can also enhance your environment, having a physical effect on us, and how we feel. I don't set out to produce art about one subject or another, however it is essential to me that the interior designs I produce are eye-catching. The inspiration for most of my work comes from the forms, colors, and patterns seen in nature and I tend to take an abstract approach.
