Item details
Adrift was inspired by Kilmartin Glen in Argyll. The whole place is littered with Neolithic & Bronze age sites and has a legend attached to it that the old kings of Scotland were crowned standing on a certain stone which still bares the shape of a footprint in it! The place has a wild & ancient mystery which I tried to capture in the painting.
