Harris Tweed clock pink blue check handwoven British wool fabric square clock
This unusual clock has been handmade from the world renowned Harris Tweed hand-woven wool fabric. I have selected a bright pink and blue check design to make this great wall feature. The "12 o'clock" position is marked by the "Orb" label, your guarantee of genuine Harris Tweed (see below).
The clock measures approx.20cm (8 inches) square. The modern clock mechanism inside the back requires one AA battery (only included to UK customers).
I have other colours and designs of Harris Tweed clocks available, https://folksy.com/shops/rosesworkshop/collections/250390
or contact me for your custom order.
To protect your clock on it's journey it will be padded with bubble wrap, and packed in a cardboard box.
All Roses Workshop items are handmade by me in my Lancashire workshop. Custom orders are welcome.
About Harris Tweed:
The definition of Harris Tweed contained in the Harris Tweed Act of 1993 clearly defines Harris Tweed as follows:
"Handwoven by the islanders at their homes in the Outer Hebrides, finished in the Outer Hebrides, and made from pure virgin wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides."
The Act ensures that all cloth certified with the Harris Tweed Orb symbol complies with this definition and is genuine Harris Tweed, the world’s only commercially produced handwoven tweed.
