Hanging rail made out of vintage potato crate, date stamped 1984. Stabilised from below by two brackets, and from above by means of sisal rope. For the pictures, I have temporarily hung it from hooks on the door, but it would of course need to be attached to the wall.

I have additional crates with a range of names and dates on them, so could potentially make up one of these with name/date that has significance for you.

I ordered several crates to use as storage in my studio, only to discover that they were a completely different size and shape from what I had expected, and sadly not suited to the purpose for which I needed them. So I have had an enormous amount of fun making bits and bobs out of them. Several of them are older than I am, which is pretty darned impressive!
