Roses adorn this beautiful piece of vintage hand embroidery, making it into the prettiest travel purse. Perfect for make up, toiletries, or storing precious mementos and keepsakes.

The embroidery is backed onto cotton to stabilise it, yet keeping its soft hand crafted feel.
The back section of the bag is made from pre-washed blue denim.

The length of this bag is 21 cm.
The width at the base is 24 cm tapering slightly to the top at 22 cm.

There is a tuck at each corner, giving the bag a 3 cm base to stand on.

There is a purple zip measuring 22 cm with a cream ribbon pull.

The lining is made from pastel striped cotton, which complements the roses.

The bag is finished off with my own embroidered name tag and a useful finger hook to the top of the zip.

Hand wash with care. Lie flat to dry naturally. No tumble drying please.

I try to use as much recycled materials in my work as possible. Your bag will arrive creatively wrapped in clean re-used packaging.

It will be sent with proof of postage, second class Royal Mail, and will require a signature.

I rescued these embroidered fragments from some very tired chair covers. The muted colour palette is beautiful, and the stitch so dense it gives the impression of tapestry.
The finger hook gives you the chance to hang this up as a little piece of artwork in its own right.
