An extremely good looking and useful piece with a small footprint, and, with adjustable shelves, future-proof.
It will hold around 240 CD's, loads of DVD's or paperbacks, or a combination of all 3, thanks to the virtually invisible shelf fittings.
Dimensions are:43 cm wide x 27 cm deep, x 147 cm tall.
The 1 that I have in stock is made, apart from the veneered back, throughout with selected English Cherry, a timber that is very difficult to source, as Cherry orchards are grubbed up when the trees are still fairly small, and go for firewood, which is a great pity because it is an extremely attractive species, maturing, when oiled and waxed, to a beautiful orange brown. I have made this piece in Oak, Walnut, and American Cherry.
A particularly interesting feature is the slight backward tilt, which very effectively stops the irritating tendency for CD's to tumble out of their storage all over your floor.
Delivery is free within 35 mile radius of Worcester, and if you collect, you will recieve a free envelope knife and a free butter knife.

Friends and customers asking me for something to store a lot of stuff, but not taking up much floor space, and must make a design statement.
I have also tackled the well known problem of, when selecting a CD, adjacent ones following on to the floor, usually bursting out of their casings. This was solved by a slight backward tilt; I have made double sided versions on turntables, and it has proved impossible, no matter how fast the spin, to dislodge contents.
