Item details

A colourful fused glass panel, depicting a tree of life. The panel measures 30cm high by 20cm wide. It is 6mm thick. It is made of transparent turquoise glass, with multi-coloured frits and millefiori. The tree hand painted (by me) is textured with a slight sparkle.
The panel is fired a total of three times and is annealed on each firing to strengthen the glass.
The wall fixings, which hold the panel approximately 2cm away from the wall, are included and come with full instructions. This panel looks best hung on a pale or neutral coloured wall.
Please note due to the nature of handmade items no two pieces are ever the same. The panel you'll receive will resemble closely the one in the picture, but it will not be identical.

The Tree of Life panel is inspired by the work of the American artist, Mariana Stauffer. I came across her paintings quite by accident, when I was wasting time on Twitter one day. I was struck by the amazing colours and vibrancy of her work and set out to create something in glass.
