This is a simple, A4 Illustration depicting a boy questioning a lonely fish. The second in the series of a boy living on a remote Island in Scotland. I created it using scanned in acrylic painted paper and a collage from tissue paper for the sky. I then digitally pieced the illustration together. A little like a digital collage.
This gift is ideal as a present for a loved one or a treat for yourself. It would brighten up any space and be a good conversation starter.
It is available as an A4 Print measuring 29.5cm x 21cm. It has a 3cm border around the edge, making it ideal for framing without needing a mount.
The image is digitally printed locally to a professional finish onto 210 gsm, uncoated, matte paper and comes packaged in a hard backed envelope, wrapped in cellophane arriving with you in top condition.
When on holiday in Scotland a few years ago, my, my brother and dad went on a ferry trip to Tobimory (the island where the children's programme Balimory was filmed at the time). We went past a remote Island with few houses on and it got me thinking of a story of a boy living there. I wondered what a child would do on an island with so few people and possibly not much access to friends. So I created some images around this story, the boy and fish being one of my favourites along with the kite flying in scotland piece also available in my shop.
