This colourful, landscape print of Emley Moor Mast in West Yorkshire depicts the landmark on a sunny, blue sky day. A family is enjoying their picnic in the surrounding field, it makes me want to be there with them.

Emley Moor is a transmitting station that can be seen for miles around. nearby and that's because it is the tallest, freestanding sculpture in the UK!

The illustration is created digitally using scanned in textures and drawings, pieced together on Photoshop for a quality finish. For this piece, I have used scanned in acryllic paintings and a piece of wood that I painted using a range of brush strokes to represent the sky.

I have my illustrations digitally printed locally in Sheffield to a professional finish. They are printed onto a 210gsm, uncoated, matte paper with a with a 2 - 3cm border around the edge making it ideal to frame. It is also hand signed in the bottom, right corner underneath the title Emley Moor.

The image size is A4 and measures 29.5cm x 21cm. It is hand signed in the bottom right corner and above that I have also written Emley Moor.

This print would be posted out to you in a hard backed envelope and cellophane wrapper to prevent bends and creases.

Based in Sheffield and a keen walker, I can spot Emley Moor from the top of a hill near my house. I also work near the site it is on and have even been inside it as part of a project I was working on. I like how it marks the landscape and creates a distinct shadow on the grass in the sunlight. I plan to Illustrate a night version too.
