I stayed for a few weeks at a small hotel run by a French woman high in the Atlas mountains outside Marrakesh in Morocco. There were Peacocks roaming free and a wall in the grounds covered every morning with fresh Morning Glory flowers which were a wonder to me.
We sometimes grow them in a window box with strings against the kitchen window and they are always a source of wonder as the flowers only last 1 day but there are always new spirally folded buds looking like 'The Gherkin' in London (incidentally I always though it looked more like a Morning Glory bud than a gherkin didnt you?.. Lovely to look at when you are washing up. :)
