After my first mixed media tree painting earlier last year called 'The Patchwork Tree' I decided it would be lovely to try some different coloured trees, focussing on pretty fabrics in a limited palette, but using pretty floral fabrics. I am really pleased with the two blue ones that followed on, this being one of them. I think the fabrics make for an interesting, pretty print.
