I was commissioned to make a tryptic of images for a conservatory, which were site specific and which held some personal resonance with the clients. Recent work had been concerned with repetition and working on the piece for the conservatory made me focus particularly on the changes in light. I wanted to use motifs which the clients could identify with, and I also wanted to make them smile. Since the commission I have had great fun finding other motifs which could apply to other people. Is there one for you?
