Hand made and free-hand quilted
100% cotton fabrics
for 15cms 6 inches tall / 14oz to 16oz travel cups
I only repeat fabrics twice at the most and they are free-hand machine quilted, so each one is unique. I hope you like them too.
Height 16cms / 6 1/4 inches
Base diameter 7cms or 3 3/4 inches
Handle length 25cms / 10 inches (approx)
14 to 16 ounce cup
The holder fits a standard ceramic travel cup about 6 inches high without a handle. I’ve included a picture of the best shape and there are loads of lovely designs on line or even in the shops. I would suggest you look for the double layer insulated ones as the single layered style gets too hot to hold and your drink doesn’t stay warm for as long.
The base has a small piece of wood in it to help it stand better. If your mug holder needs a wash, please do not put it in the washing machine, just wash it by hand and put in a warm place to dry out. This will prevent the colours from running and the wooden base from distorting.

The best part of walking my dog is the bit where I sit on a bench and enjoy a nice hot drink while he cocks his leg on everything that is taller than a blade of grass. I really look forward to a nice cappuccino in the park or on the cliff top or even sat among the camper vans along the beach road looking out to sea. Over the years I have tried using insulated plastic camping mugs and metal flasks in an effort to keep my drink warm long enough for me to pick up all my dog's poop and finally get to the bench. The problem has always been that I don’t like drinking out of anything but china so I was thrilled to find a beautiful ceramic mug on a trip to Vancouver in 2012.
I designed this cup holder after I realised that I needed a spare hand to do my ‘doggy do do duties’ without having to put my coffee on the floor and lots of dog walkers have asked me where I got it from. So realising that others may like one too so I have made a few and am listing them on Folksy.
