CHRISTMAS/WINTER NOTECARD SET
Winter Sunset design

- 4 x Single-fold notecards
- A6 size (10.5 x 14.8cm)
- Matt-finish 250gsm cardstock, lightly textured 'tintoretto gesso'
- Professionally printed exterior
- Blank white inside, fountain pen-friendly
- Ribbed kraft envelope included
- Packaged in self-seal cellophane packet

DESIGN
These single-fold notecards with ribbed kraft envelopes feature designs reproduced from collages of upcycled postage stamps by TangleCrafts. The original collages were featured on the cover of notebooks/journals (see my other shop items for ooak notebooks!), and these notecards are designed to retain the notebook 'feel'. The front features a matt-finish print of the collage, and the back reproduces the kraft cardstock of a notebook's back cover.

INNER
The inside of the card is not printed: it is left blank for your message. Please note, the inside of the card is WHITE (not kraft brown). The notecard is made from 250gsm Italian cardstock, 'tintoretto gesso', which has a wonderfully tactile, lightly 'hammered' texture. It is a fountain pen-friendly surface, lovely to write on!

Use as a Christmas card, or for dashing off a quick note to a friend, or put to use as an any-occasion greeting card, at any time of year! The design is made up of festive reds and greens but is also nicely non-specific, suitable for many different purposes.

COLLAGE & NOTECARD DESIGN
The original postage stamp collages were created by TangleCrafts earlier in 2015 and have already sold. The featured postage stamps date from a wide range of periods, from the turn of the last century (early 1900s) up to the mid-1970s (ish). They still bear fragments of postmarks and other cancellation marks as a testament to their former active service for worldwide postal services, providing a real sense of history.
