This snoozing dormouse was designed and handmade by fibre artist Kathryn Rogers. He is needle felted and constructed entirely from a variety of British wool.
He measures approximately 5.5 x 6.5 cm and has a badge fitting embroidered onto a smooth felt backing
This brooch was lovingly handmade with care, and multiple hours of work have gone into it's creation. My needle felted items are one of a kind pieces of art, designed for adults and are not suitable for young children under 3 years of age.

I have a background in environmental conservation and ecology, and have a real passion for British wildlife. I love little Dormice, and couldn't resist making a sleeping one as I also love Alice in Wonderland and the character of The Dormouse!
I love wearable animals, I try to give my creations a colour realism to give an impression of taxidermy in a wearable and cruelty free way.
