Keep your gorgeous 1940's curls and waves in perfect shape by wearing this snood on windy days, to sleep in or to give your outfit an extra retro touch. My snoods are an authentic gathered net whereas most people make a slouchy bag style which does not give the lovely neat vintage look you want or the nice diamond shape.

Available in three sizes:
Long - below shoulder length
Mid-length - shoulder length
Short - bob/above the shoulder hair

I crocheted this snood after being inspired by a 1940's hair and make-up workshop I attended and now make these during my commute to work. It's made from super-durable acrylic yarn so can be flung in the washing machine without a care.

Please note although great care has been taken to accurately represent colours due to differences in screen resolutions and photographic equipment the colour shown may be slightly different to the actual item.

You keep it in place with hair grips.

I tried out lots of original snood patterns until I found one I really liked then I adapted it to give the fit and flexibility I was looking for and here we are. I love making them and put a lot of care into making sure every single stitch is beautiful.
