Woodpecker Brooch in sterling silver.

Each woodpecker is individually hand pierced allowing me to create a little variation ensuring each one is unique whilst maintaining the essence of the piece.

All brooch fittings are handmade. This listing is for the all silver woodpecker. He is also available (listed separately) with a 9ct yellow gold or 9ct rose gold back for £220.00.

I love British wildlife and especially the woodpecker that visits a tree at the end of our garden. This brooch depicts him on the tree, it makes me think of the rat-a-tat-tat, that I occasionally hear!
When I buy a piece of jewellery, I like to feel that I am getting something for my money, therefore I always make my pieces out of thicker sheet and people often comment on my work being a nice weight and feel in the hand.
I love this piece so much that I have one myself, he often catches peoples' eye and gets admiring comments!
