A handmade Linocut print depicting Rosehips. Printed in water based ink on heavyweight Fabriano Rosaspina archival paper.
This is a colour blend of magenta and prussian blue which creates subtle changes in shade and tone through the image. Please note that due to the nature of colour blends, there may be variations in colour to the image shown.

Image size: 5cms x 15cms
Paper size: 21cms x 26cms

The print has been photographed in an A4 sized frame with a window mount.

All prints are signed and titled and arrives securely in a hard-backed envelope.

Inspired by the changing seasons from Summer to Autumn and the drawing in of the colder months, I wanted to recreate the beauty of nature in it's most striped back form.
I love the colours of Autumn and the jewel-like reds and purples of berries at this time of year. I'm also interested in the shapes and forms that plants create when leaves and lush vegetation has gone. They seem at their most fragile, but can also be at their most beautiful in Autumn and Winter.
