These are of good quality heavy slate.

I search for interesting good quotes, which I then select the typefaces and typeset to fit the slate. I use my fabric hardener resin to colour and paint the slate to receive the transfer of the quote onto the surface. (It is not stuck down printed paper glued onto the slate)
You can see on the photo that no ridges show, which it would do if paper.
I use about 6 layers of different varnishes to achieve the resillient surface.

They supplied in the gift packaging as shown.

They measure just a little less thatn 4" x 4"
Does not include the cup and spoon.

I saw the slates and thought I could do something really special with them and I already have the special transfer medium to do the job properly.
