With a nod towards the mid-century modern style this stylistic flower in bloom was created using cotton thread on unbleached cotton background. It is framed with a lovely natural wood embroidery hoop.

Each design is hand crafted and so your flower may differ ever so slightly.

I love mid-century modern style. I hanker after the furniture and the textiles. I stalk selling sites and newspaper ads for Ercol sofas, Lucienne Day textiles all whilst dreaming of living in Mies van der Rohe’s Farnsworth House!

This stylised flower was conceived out of this love and is my way of bringing mid-century modern to any home.
