This is an original lino cut relief print, hand printed in an edition of 25.

After carving a single lino block, the carving is printed onto Japanese Simili paper using old based printmaking ink. Each print is an original work of art, numbered and signed by me, the artist.

Linocuts are original prints, not giclee (computer) reproductions. Each on of my linocuts are original prints, taking time, care and skill to produce.

This print comes mounted and unframed. It is wrapped in cellophane, packaged carefully for shipping.

The image size is 21cm x 15cm (approx 8" x 6")
The mount size is 37.5cm x 34cm (approx 14.5" x 13")

I take long walks in the countryside every day with my beloved Jack Russell, Mr P. A constant companion to me. He waits patiently while I sketch 'en plain air' and sniffs around inquisitively as I forage for feathers, leaves, seeds and insects. I pass a large oak tree on my walks and as I collected the oak leaves, I decided to do a print to remind me of the sights of the countryside. I have two editions from this block. One is green and the other is this lovely orange colour - a colour representing how I feel when I'm out in the countryside; bright and happy.
