Using old maps and colourful paper and a bit of card to create an original hand-cut string of bunting.

This strand of bunting has 11 flags, 10cm across and 21cm long. 5 of the flags I have hand cut, this design has thin circles crossing over each other, and they are interspersed with 6 map bunting flags.

Each flag has been machine stitched and they are on a green satin ribbon, just under 2m long.

The bunting would look lovely in any room in the home. As it is paper, it is not suitable for outside use.

I love paper and I bought some beautiful old maps to make some bunting for my daughter's birthday party. The map bunting was lovely, but then I made some with Happy Birthday cut into it. Not content to leave it at that, I decided to do more cutting into the flags, and this is what I ended up with!

I love to make, create, experiment with materials and play, all this and the result is Randomocracy. Live life a little more randomly.

I am attracted to things slightly off kilter and want to make things that make people smile.

Beautiful in any room of the house, for celebrations, or for everyday living!
