I love making these collars. They are the perfect way to jazz up an otherwise plain outfit or just to add something a little different. My first was a sparkly white collar for a minnie-mouse outfit, and I have been addicted to making them ever since.
This collar is made from upcycled jeans which had originally been intended for another project until I had a light bulb moment and decided that they would be better re-purposed for this collar. The denim is great for an everyday collar, but flip it over and BAM an explosion of colour and pattern. So much more interesting that a plain lining.
