This is Yellow Clay with Red Flowers around the handle.

For using when the thread at the back of the fabric you are using is too short to use a needle but you need the thread weaved in securely. This allows you to hook the thread through the stitches on the back of your work and weave ends in.

Just wrap the thread around the hook, insert in back of working stitch and pull through...this can be done several times even when the thread is short. Saves threading a needle and struggling to get it through stitches.

The clay handles allow a more ergonomic grip and they are a pretty accessory to any sewing box and make a perfect gift for Special Occasions or a treat for yourself.

No two will be identical as they are hand made by me and non pre-printed clay is used. They are unique and individual. Some are used with GLOW IN THE DARK clay and others have clay slices embedded into the clay.

I have been fighting back from an illness since 2011 and whilst in recovery I have been teaching myself knitting, crochet and lots of other crafts. I also love embroidery, cross stitch and general sewing and these tail catchers have made my weaving in the end of the threads so much quicker and easier.

I could not find any in the UK so have made my own and then people have seen mine and asked could I make them one please. So here they are.

They are hand made by me using non pre-printed clay so each one is individual and unique.

I get many compliments and they make a great, fun and unique gift for yourself or someone crafty!!
