The loss of a loved one whether a person or a treasured pet can be devastating. To be able to have their remains encased in a glass piece can be very supportive.
Picture 1 shows a pendant with cremains in and the container you would be sent along with a special delivery envelope. The safest postal service for your cremains. You would return the cremains to me in a special delivery envelope, at your cost. Only a half teaspoon is required.
There would be discussions between us to establish colours, size and type of piece. Glass is a challenging medium to work with especially with cremains so please allow for this and also my interpretation of what you have in mind.
Only the ordered piece would be worked on using tools specific for this work. Photos would be taken at each stage to share with you and any cremains not used would be returned with the finished piece. Only your piece would be fired in the kiln. Your piece would then be returned again via Royal Mail special delivery at a cost of £7.50 for postage. The process would take approximately 3/4 weeks
The pink and blue pieces in picture 2 could be made as pendants, key fobs, or rings.Picture 4 is the reverse of picture 3 and the cremains are in a copper heart on the back of this pendant. Picture 5 has the cremains of a friends cat 'Barney' As a price guide picture 1 style would be approx £45 plus postage and picture 5 style would be approx £75 plus postage
