A hand drawn portrait that's perfect for giving away as unique gift, commemorate a special day, make invitations more special, or just decorating the wall with.

Each portrait is hand drawn with Copic Markers, created from your photos and suggestions. They measure 14.8 x 21 cm ( 5.83 x 8.27" ), on sturdy paper.

---- The process ----

1. Send me photos to work from, of which at least one needs to show the couple clearly from head to toe, preferably in daylight (or similar indoor light). The more photos the better, particularly photos of happy moments for the couple. I'll gladly work with any ideas you might have for the portrait!

Also let me know if you want any text on the portrait, and if so, what it should say, and in what font (see the last image above).

2. I'll create a digital layout of the portrait, and send it to you for approval.

3. If you haven't yet, this is the time to purchase this listing! And yes, everything up till now can be done for free. Just send me a message here on Folksy, or send me a mail at schtaina (at) gmail.com, to get started.

4. I will paint the portrait and send a scanned and watermarked version to you for final approval, before packing it up and sending.

I've always loved telling stories, it's the red thread through all my endeavors. When drawing portraits, I try to not only catch the looks of the person portrayed, but also their personality and story.

Weddings are a rather special occasion - in one moment, your entire life changes. Wedding photos are often filled with warmth and love, and this is something I try to capture when painting the portrait.

It's truly a one-of-a-kind gift, that will hopefully bring back happy memories of that day for many years to come.
