This was one of those creations that really made itself - or maybe it was my hands working without the impetus of my conscious brain!!!! Huh? Precisely [nods sagely].

Seriously though, it did kind of form on the go, taking shape as I fashioned the necklace without a design in mind. It started life as a single strand necklace, aimed more at youngsters using the colourful lucite star beads and coloured cord. So then I thought, why not add pony beads, beads that I had recently purchased, having ordered them in error! To give it more substance I added another strand, then one more and, in keeping with the colourful theme of the beads, I mixed it up likewise with the cords. I finished it off with a bit of twisted knot macramé nicely showcasing the different colour cords, and, hey presto, a necklace suitable for oldsters (like myself) as well as youngsters (like my 19 year old model) Well, she sorta likes it, and might wear it if she’d wear jewellery made by her auntie!!!
