Textile Art Picture hand stitched on hand made felt with fabrics and threads mounted onto a blue cotton background. The picture is unglazed and professionally framed in a vintage style gold frame with hoops and string on the back ready to hang on the wall. The picture size is 36 x 30cm and features angels and animals in the sky with stars, the sun and leaves. Along with the handmade felt I have included wool fabric, transparent fabrics, star fabric, star sequins and gold thread.

The title 'Angels Bending' comes from the lyrics in the Christmas Carol; 'It came upon the Midnight Clear that glorious song of old from angels bending near the earth to touch their harps of gold.' I liked the imagery in the Carol and decided to portray 'Angels Bending near the Earth' in hand stitch using felt I had made myself.
